Fifth Moon of Tree calendar – 13 months – following the lunar cycle – each 28 days long + one extra day representing the 23rd December, the ‘Day of Creation’
The Willows are beautiful right now catkins turned from pussy willows to downy yellow flowers creating gold domed halos on the bare branched trees, many falling to the ground in wooly carpets, those that remain on the branches turning into strange spiky seed pods.
